Graphic Design Intern for Accelerator Team

Number of Openings: 1 Location: Beijing/Shanghai Group Introduction: The Accelerator team of Microsoft Research Asia serves as a bridge between Microsoft Research Asia and Chinese universities and research institutions. Since its inception, the department has collaborated extensively with academic institutions across Asia and launched a variety of talent programs to support the development of computing talent in the region. The department’s projects include collaborative research with universities, joint laboratories, Microsoft Education Summits, visiting scholar programs, internship programs, Microsoft Scholar Awards, Microsoft Innovative Talent Academy, lectures, and courses. Since 1998, the department has sponsored over 600 activities, attracting more than 300,000 participants from over 10 countries and has established partnerships with nearly 100 universities and research institutions Job Responsibilities:

Design materials for various events hosted by the Academic Collaboration Department, including main visuals, banners, name badges, stickers, etc.
Design visuals for new media platforms, ensuring the visual style of platforms like WeChat and Weibo, including icons, infographics, and cover images.
Design and produce the Academic Collaboration Department’s newsletter.
Design and create PowerPoint presentations and collaborate on potential video shooting projects.
Assist with other design-related tasks for Microsoft Research Asia.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in graphic design, visual communication, or related fields.
Outstanding and comprehensive design abilities, including skills in layout, icon design, and color schemes. Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design software.
Able to independently complete the entire process from design to production.
Able to clearly articulate design concepts.
Proactive, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

组别简介： 微软学术合作部是微软亚洲研究院与中国高校与科研机构的桥梁。自微软亚洲研究院创立之初，学术合作部门就与亚洲的高校和科研机构展开了丰富的科研合作，并设立了一系列人才项目来支持亚洲计算机领域的人才培养。学术合作部业务覆盖的项目包括以与高校的合作研究项目、联合实验室、微软教育峰会、访问学者项目、实习生项目、微软学者奖学金、微软创新人才学院、讲座以及课程。自1998年以来，微软亚洲研究院学术合作部赞助了600余项活动、吸引了来自10多个国家超过30万的参与者，与近百所高校及研究机构达成合作关系。 工作职责：

学术合作部主办的各项活动的物料设计，包括主视觉、易拉宝、胸卡、贴纸等
新媒体传播相关视觉设计，把控微信公众号、微博等平台的视觉风格，设计icon、信息图、封面图等
学术合作部Newsletter的设计与制作
设计并制作PPT，协作有可能进行的视频拍摄项目
协助微软亚洲研究院其他设计相关工作

任职要求：

平面设计、视觉传达或其他相关专业的本科生或硕士生
优秀而全面的设计能力，需要有包括排版、图标设计、配色等平面设计技能，能熟练运用Adobe Photoshop，Illustrator，InDesign等设计软件
能够独立完成从设计到制作的整个流程
能够清晰地描述自己的设计方案
工作具有主动性，关注细节，具有优秀的沟通能力
