Research Intern for Intelligent Multimedia Group

Number of Openings: 1-2 Location: Beijing/Shanghai Group Introduction: The Intelligent Multimedia Group at Microsoft Research Asia is dedicated to pioneering advancements in image and video understanding, as well as image and video generation, with the goal of developing next-generation intelligent multimedia systems. The research spans a wide array of topics, including image and video understanding and generation, multimodal learning, AI interpretability, disentangled learning, scene understanding, and more. Job Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct cutting-edge research, experimental validation, and paper writing under the guidance of researchers, driving technological innovation.
  2. Design and implement models to solve real-world problems and improve performance.
  3. Perform data analysis and optimize model design to enhance the effectiveness and stability of the models.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other related fields.
  2. Strong programming skills (Python/C++), with familiarity in at least one common deep learning framework.
  3. Quick learning ability and a great passion for research.
  4. Strong communication skills and a team collaboration spirit.
  5. Ability to read and write academic papers in English.
  6. Preferred qualifications: Relevant research experience, published papers, or participation in related competitions.
  7. Written consent from your academic advisor.

  3. 快速学习能力，对研究有热情
  4. 具有良好的沟通能力和团队协作精神
  5. 具备阅读及撰写英文文献的能力
  6. 加分项：有相关研究经历/有论文发表/有参加相关比赛经验者优先
  7. 能得到导师的书面同意
