Position Title: Research Intern for Multimodal Computing Group Job Type: Full-time Intern Number of Openings: 2-4 Location: Beijing/Shanghai Group Introduction: The Multimodal Computing team at Microsoft Research Asia is dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art AI technologies that enhance understanding and interaction with people, objects, and environments in the multimodal real world. Our research encompasses a wide array of fields, including computer vision, generative AI, multimodal modeling, 3D perception, and robotic action learning, among others. By exploring the frontiers of these domains, we aim to develop innovative solutions that bridge the digital and physical worlds, empowering AI systems to perceive, comprehend, and navigate complex real-world scenarios. Job Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the research and development of algorithms to drive technological innovation.
  2. Design and implement models to solve real-world problems and improve performance.
  3. Conduct data analysis, model optimization, and deployment to enhance application effectiveness and stability.
  4. Improve existing code and optimize performance.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other related fields.
  2. Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
  3. Excellent programming skills or relevant project experience.
  4. Quick learning ability.
  5. Proficiency in using English as a working language.
  6. Strong communication skills and team collaboration spirit.
  7. Written consent from your academic advisor.

任职要求：
  1. 计算机科学、软件工程、电子工程或其它相关专业（本科/硕士/博士）
  2. 扎实的数据结构/算法基础
  3. 具有优秀的编程能力或相关的项目经验
  4. 快速学习能力
  5. 可以熟练使用英文作为工作语言
  6. 具有良好的沟通能力和团队协作精神
  7. 能得到导师的书面同意
