Research Intern for Visual Computing Group

Number of Openings: 2-4 Location: Beijing/Shanghai General Information: The Visual Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia is seeking motivated and talented interns with expertise in computer vision and machine learning. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of computer vision technology and may potentially be used by millions of people across the globe. Our interns are supported by a world-class team of researchers and are encouraged to publish their research outcomes in top-tier conferences and journals. The research interests of our group include computer vision theory, visual content understanding and generation, deep learning architectures and techniques, multimodal vision, and embodied vision. Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate in the research and development of computer vision algorithms to drive technological innovation.
  2. Design and implement computer vision models to solve real-world problems and improve performance.
  3. Conduct data analysis and model optimization to enhance application effectiveness and stability.
  4. Document research findings and contribute to the preparation of research papers and presentations.
Qualifications:
  1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Previous research experience in computer vision and machine learning.
  3. Strong programming skills or relevant project experience.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
