SQL Server 2008 tops TechEd 2008 IT Pro conference

On the heels of last week’s successful TechEd 2008 for Developers, SQL Server 2008 was again well received at the second half of TechEd 2008 devoted to IT Pros. Over 8,786 customers, partners, press, and staff attended last the IT Pro week long event.

Microsoft Senior VP of Server & Tools Bob Muglia kicked off the show with a keynote that featured several demos including a great SQL Server 2008 demo by Val Fontama, SQL Server Product Manager. The SQL Server DAT track captured 4 of the top 10 breakout sessions and was voted #1 for Instructor Led Labs.
