System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 releases SP1 delivering enhanced support for SQL Server 2008

Service Pack 1 for System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 has been released with new capabilities for protecting SQL Server, Windows Server, SharePoint and Exchange. For SQL Server customers, SP1 adds support for mirrored databases as well as providing parallel backup support.

The System Center team and SQL Server team within Microsoft work closely together to deliver solutions around structured and unstructured data, respectively.
