Windows Server Update Services – Release Candidate

Cool stuff here – Windows Server Update Services has reached the RC milestone.  You can download a version of Update Services here:

http://newed.any0.dpdns.org/windowsserversystem/updateservices/evaluation/trial/default.mspx

What does this have to do with x64 you say?   In addition to providing updates for SQL, MSDE, Office, Windows, (and eventually EVERY MS technology…really it will) – it also provides update for all the 64-Bit SKU’s.

I have played with this technology since SUS 1.0 (Quite Extensively) and can honestly say that this product is ready for prime time……

Enough of the WSUS commercial…if you havent taken it for a spin, you should.

Did I mention that it is free?
