Yeehaw – RC2 is Complete!!

Ward Ralston here – I, like John Borozan, am a Product Manager with Windows Server.

Some of you may have already heard that Window Server 2003 64-Bit Editions, Window Server 2003 SP1, and Windows XP Professional have all reached the Release Canidate Two (RC2) Milestone this afternoon.

Word on the street is that this RC2 is a great, stable build – I am installing it now on one of my office computers….

The x64 bits for client and x64 (RC1) are available through either the beta program or customer preview program:

XP Pro: http://newed.any0.dpdns.org/windowsxp/64bit/evaluation/upgrade.mspx

x64: http://newed.any0.dpdns.org/windowsserver2003/64bit/extended/trial/default.mspx

If you would like to download the SP1 or Itanium bits, these links should be active later tonight (6PM PST)

2003 SP1: bits http://newed.any0.dpdns.org/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=02734CEA-7A4B-4D95-B220-8E1708C3ED46

Itanium (Ia64) RC2 bits:

Cool!
